"WOW. This place was absolutely amazing and a luxury dream vacation. We absolutely adored it. My husband is an architect so from a design standpoint, we so appreciated the beautiful design, thoughtful layout and materials. We loved that we could cook dinner at night and still have eyes on our kids in the pool. We loved that there was an outdoor table to eat at right outside the kitchen. The firepit and starry skies were such a delight. It was one amazing thing after another. We loved the outdoor swing to read in and relax and saw howler monkeys from the trees almost every morning. The views are breath taking! The beds were comfortable, air conditioning wonderful, there were towels to bring to the beach. Everything was so thought out. On top of the beautiful place and amenities, Rebeca, the co-host is THE BEST I've ever had. SO responsive, helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to make our stay feel like we were at home. THANK YOU!!! We will definitely be back!"

“We’ve stayed at lots of Airbnbs over the past few years and Carol’s place is definitely at the very top of our list! The place is absolutely breathtaking in person!! Everything about the space is so well thought out. The house is stocked with everything you need and more! The home was absolutely spotless.
Pablo’s communication with us throughout the process was excellent and he even met us to guide us to the house. Keep in mind that you’ll want a 4x4 vehicle for navigating the road to the house, in addition to many of the other roads in the area. The roads are totally fine with a 4x4!
You will definitely not regret booking a stay here!”

“Wow!!! Spectacular property. Despite the difficulties of getting to the property due to unpaved roads and getting lost a few times while driving in the dark and rain after a long travel day, this property did not disappoint. We were prepared for an adventurous drive up the mountain as I read through all the reviews but we knew it would be worth it. Both Carol and Ashley were amazing. Ashley communicated with us and stayed up until we checked in to make sure we were ok. Ashley ran out to pick up groceries and food for us in the dark and rain as our schedule was off due to flight delay. This property has plenty of space, stunning views, gorgeous pool. It was our private retreat. Ashley coordinated a private chef for my sister’s birthday, set up excursions for us, recommended best beaches. She was very responsive and just a delight. We quickly became familiar with the roads once settled in and yes a 4x4 is a must. Wished we could have stayed longer didn’t want to leave!”

You will be very happy if you book this home for your vacation. But absolutely rent a 4x4 vehicle. No way to get up the very steep hill without it. Tough road. But once you get there you will be very happy.

“This house is epic! The view, the pool, the size of the rooms. Wow! It was extremely comfortable for the four of us.
You preferably need a 4x4 to get to the house since you have a 15-20 minutes drive up the mountain on a dirt road. While the house is a bit secluded from the main beaches we still felt it was perfect and didn’t feel a need to drive down every day. You just don’t want to leave this place!

“We absolutely loved our stay here. We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous view. Pool was amazing for evening swims after a day at the beach.
Everything was very clean and beautiful. Beds were comfortable and ac worked great for a good nights sleep.
We had daily visits from howler monkeys.
The drive up and down the mountain to get to the house is definitely an adventure and 4 wheel drive is a must.
All the beaches nearby are beautiful. Playa Garza is the closest beach and has a lovely restaurant, Perozah, right on the beach.
Playa Guiones is great for surfing and waves with a cute little street of restaurants. We had dinner at a beach bar, Howlers, then walked to the beach for sunset.
Playa Pelada was our favorite beach. Waves, rocks to walk on, shade to sit under, and a beautiful restaurant right on the beach.
We had a great fishing trip that Ashley arranged for us. And then she helped arrange a private chef to come to the house to cook our catch. Beautiful house great vacation”

“We were a family of 8 looking for a private haven and Carols home did not disappoint!! Epic views, stunning infinity pool which we were in constantly, and a huge beautiful home to spread out in!! We felt so relaxed and were able to enjoy the picturesque scenery and beautiful sunsets every evening!
Carol and team were very responsive and helpful with any questions about the house; as well as local inquiries. We ventured out for horse back riding, surfing and zip lining.
Any food/stores/amenities are a 20-30 minute down the mountain so we planned our days around this. Driving up around the mountain tops was beautiful! We rented a 6 seater side by side and a motorcycle which we really enjoyed but it is VERY dusty! Either way you’ll need a four wheel drive vehicle as the roads up the mountain are iffy.
So thankful for our stay here and the memories made as a family! Felt right at home ♥️”

“Carol and Mikes place was the perfect get away for our family. My 90 year old mom was in awe at the view and the ease of living there.
The whole house was spotlessly clean, the linens were top notch and smelled great. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The pool was a big hit as a relaxing and cool way to spend the afternoons, cocktail in hand! We saw birds, bees, butterflies, monkeys, pizotes, and iguanas, all from the deck!
The kitchen had all the amenities needed. We used the grill for the fresh mahi mahi we caught. We fired up the pizza oven and had fresh delicious pizza one night!
Tuna carpaccio and margaritas at Howlers in Guiones/Nosara was our go to place for lunch. La Malacrianza in Garza had the best fresh catch we found! Savor de la Montaña has great sunsets! Photos don’t do it justice as it’s hard to capture the grandeur and serenity of the location. And finally, you do need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there! Roads are steep and often bumpy.”

“Carol and Michael’s places took our breath away. We arrived in the evening and weren’t able to actually see the view until the morning. I will never forget the reaction of each member of our family. The surroundings are spectacular. The home is also much more then then pictures show. It’s magnificent!! We had a very comfortable stay. Felt like a private resort. You will definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to drive up and down the hills during your stay. Lots of amenities and beaches not to far away. Nosara is lovely and a quieter area of Costa Rica. Ashley, the property manager responded well to our messages and offered us many suggestions and opportunities for things to do in the area. We enjoyed this beautiful home with three teenage boys. We had a wonderful time enjoying the pool and listening to the howler monkeys. We saw some smaller monkeys on the tree lines by the property and the bird watching was incredible. The home could accommodate up to two families very comfortably!”

“Our family of 4 spent an incredible week at this beautiful new home nestled in the hills of Nosara. The house is incredible and felt like our own private luxury resort in the jungle. We saw howler moneys in the trees while swimming in the pool and toucans on our hikes up the mountain in the evenings. We couldn't wait to swim in the pool and watch the sunset after a long day at the beach. We spent a lot of time exploring the quaint surf/yoga town of Guiones. Our two favorite beaches were Playa San Juanillo (cute Fishermans cove) and Playa Barrigona (stunning white sand beach). I recommend driving to the house during daylight for the first time, as the dirt road up the mountain is an adventure. But thankfully Ashley gave us perfect directions and even met us there - as we arrived in the dark during a tropical downpour (a 4x4 vehicle is a must). The house is stunning and everyone we met in Nosara was warm and welcoming. We absolutely loved our time here and can't wait to come back!!”
